A fabulous bargain set of five knitting stitch markers.
This listing is for a set of five knitting stitch markers chosen by me, at random, from a selection of end-of-line and one-of-a-kind markers. These are all perfect markers, but, because there may be only one or two left of any one design it is not practicable to list them separately. I will endeavour to include at least one each of charm, gemstone, and bead markers.
This is a chance to pick up quality snag-free markers at a bargain price.
You will receive a set of five knitting stitch markers from a selection; some of the currently available designs are shown in the gallery, but I cannot guarantee to be able to supply any specific markers. The charms are made either from Tibetan silver or from zinc alloy and are free of nickel, cadmium and lead; the rings are made from silver-plated copper wire. Each ring is soldered closed so that the ring will not snag on your knitting whilst you are using it. The solder used is lead free.
The large ring on each marker measures 8mm across, and is suitable for use on knitting needles up to 6mm (US size 10, UK Imperial size 4). As a lace knitter myself, I have found this size to be the most comfortable to use, and the charms provide a little weight and interest to the knitting process.
Many commercially produced stitch markers use jump rings made from wire that is too thin and quickly becomes misshapen; I make my stitch marker rings from 1mm wire that maintains its shape in use. Many stitch markers are not soldered closed, so that the yarn is easily snagged; my stitch markers are soldered so that there is no gap in the ring to snag your yarn.
